It takes many people to be the church.
Not because it takes many people to support a building –or- to serve on committee -or- to hire a pastor or whatever else a “church” does. It takes many people to be the church because we each experience God’s grace in a different way. We each feel God’s movements in different ways, see God’s call in various places, and hear God’s voices with our own ears. And we are a church because we get to come together and share what and where and how God is working in the world and the way God has answered prayers and even how we feel God is guiding us. And that’s church. Not because we have a building, but because we seek God together. And as a church, we get to support each other in the faith the Spirit has gifted to us.
