This weekend at worship, I got to lead about 20 people to a fire circle in the middle of the woods which had no fire in it – only a stack of wood ready to go. And we stood in the dark, waiting and listening for God’s voice. We looked at the stars that have guided so many folks across the centuries and searched God’s face for a light that could lead us.
Are there ways that God has shined for you, if even so small and far away as a star, that it can guide you in seeking and serving the Almighty? Have you ever taken the time to pause, even in the midst of overwhelming darkness, to search for God’s direction? Could you? Or, do you feel God guiding you now?
Enjoy this week, and the lights God has given to guide us! Seek and search, God will find you!
