- 7th & 8th Grade
Confirmation: 7th and 8th graders spend two years together, going yet deeper into the message of the Holy Bible, especially the teachings and impact of Jesus Christ. The next year they dive into Luther’s Small Catechism, which we use as a springboard for faith building, internalizing moral imperatives and living well in Christian community. Service projects, get-togethers, shared meals, and a deeper level of faith that encourages good questions are highlights of these confirmation years.
This group meets on Wednesday nights in the fall (after Rally Sunday) through the beginning of May! (With a break for Christmas, New Years, and folks on Vacation!) All are welcome to join us for food and fellowship with our C.H.O.W. opportunities at 5:30 pm before the class meets at 6:15!
We also go to confirmation camp at Carol Joy Holling each summer as we get to do high ropes, trust-building through obstacle courses, sing songs, play games, and praise God in worship all in an action packed week! See the church office for more details if you are interested in coming!
