Church matters. And by that I don’t mean the building, or the worship, or even the words that the preacher says. What I mean by that is the people. The people matter. And when we struggle or go thru loss or fight a sickness or face any number of uncertainties, it is good to have church there to back you up. Because, let’s face it, sometimes life is hard and at those times we just may not feel like being pious or praying and definitely not singing in worship –and- it is at those times that church can be there for you, to lift you up when you’re down, to sing for you amidst the tears, and to talk to God for you when frankly you’d just rather not speak to him. And so that is church – the people.  So who are your church, think about it for a moment and thank them this week, because we don’t walk this journey of life alone.
